Thalia, also spelled Thaleia, was the goddess who presided over comedy and idyllic poetry. Her name from Ancient Greek means "flourishing", because the praises in her songs flourish through time. She was the daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne, the eighth-born of the nine Muses.
This would make an excellent focal point for garden, grand bath or water feature. You'll love our Greek goddess Thalia as a treasured work of art. Our 19th-century interpretation was exquisitely sculpted at over four feet tall, before being cast in quality designer resin and hand-painted in muted pastel tones. 13½"Wx15"Dx49"H. 39 lbs.
